1) The problem → I don't want all the events to be visible in the community calendar or to everyone.
2) Why is this important → I need to organize certain events where I only want to invite a selected or certain audience.
3) What's your plan B → Either keep my community private or host the event somewhere else
4) Possible solutions we could build for you → Option to make the event private so its not visible to everyone & only users who has the event URL should be able to join the event

would be helpful to be able to hide the community wide events calender/section. or only show events from groups the member has joined in the events section. ie. if the event happens in a closed/paid group then only members of that closed group would see the events in the community wide events calender

Russia Exotic: HI We have made this change, where you can hide the event button from the community. Find this under the community settings > community experience.
